Dr. Michael B. Fisher

Doctor of Optometry.

Dr. Fisher, son of Dr. Mike & Pat Fisher of Windom, earned his doctorate degree in optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. After completing clinical rotations at the William Chapell Veterans out-patient Clinic in Daytona Beach, Florida; Wolfe Eye Clinic in Ames, Iowa; and the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Dr. Fisher worked as a managing optometrist for Lenscrafters in Chicago for a year and a half. Dr. Fisher is board certified in Minnesota & Illinois, as well as being a member of the American, Minnesota & Illinois Optometric Associations. Join us in welcoming Dr. Fisher to the Olson Optical family.

Scott Olson

Office Manager / Optician

I have been involved in the eye care industry for 22 years. Over this time, I have extensive knowledge and expertise in all facets of the eyecare business. Whether it’s frame adjustments or educating a patient on a new progressive lens, I am here to assist and educate you regarding the latest eyewear options available. You will not find a better combination of quality and value anywhere!

Gina Olson

Office Coordinator / Frame Specialist

I have been working together with my husband, Scott, in the eye care business for the past 19 years. Learning from the best, Dr. Gary A. Olson (Scott’s dad), started my eye care career! Foremost in the day to day operation was customer service and treating everyone who came in our office as the “neighbor” they were!  Patients were never waited, if they showed early for an appointment and we were able, they were seen early. Many people continue to ask how Dr. Olson is doing even after 7 years of retirement, a true tribute to him as a doctor, teacher and community member! We continue to promote this high quality of eye care today at Olson Optical.

Over the years, I have been involved in many aspects of the office but my favorite service by far is assisting patients with their frame selections! I truly feel satisfaction when we choose that “perfect” frame to enhance each person. Part of getting new frames along with improved vision is the excitement and confidence it gives patients. Being a component of this is very rewarding!

In addition to frame selections, I will be the smiling face you see when you stop in the office or the cheery voice you hear on the telephone. I look forward to being of service to you.
